 Storage Appliance Corp. reports that its new Clickfree Automatic Backup is a
hard drive that automatically searches for and copies data from more than 350 different
file types. With the device, users can safeguard
information from up to 10 computers, the
company explains.
ClickFree requires no installation or software,
and can be used right from the box. Once connected
to a PC, the software begins to search for
new files.
The device is targeted at small office and
home office use, says the company. For power
users, the system offers customizable options to
give full control over the backup process.
Even after settings have been changed, the
system can run without installation or setup,
says the company. It requires a USB port, and
Windows Vista, XP, or 2000 operating system.
The devices is 4.52 x 0.57 x 6.89 inches.
